Mom says she's fine... but is she?
You Can't Always Be There. But Someone You Trust Can.
Give Mom or Dad one steady local Steward for the home, the small problems, the safety checks, and the updates you wish you could get yourself.
Schedule A Conversation →Dad keeps saying he'll get to it.
I don't know who to trust near them.
I live too far away to check.
The little things keep piling up.
No one sends me real updates.
I'm worried about falls.
The house is getting harder for them.
I can't manage every contractor.
They should be able to enjoy these years.
They need to stay independent.
I just want to worry less.
Helping an aging parent can feel like managing a second home from the outside.
You can respect your parent’s independence and still worry about the furnace filter, loose rail, smoke detectors, basement moisture, porch steps, gutters, mystery leaks, overdue repairs, and all the small things that quietly become bigger problems.
Your Home Stewards exists for the gap between doing everything yourself, asking your parent to handle more than they should, and trying to coordinate a different service provider for every issue.
You do not need someone to replace family. You need someone local, steady, and trustworthy who can check the home, handle what needs done, and tell you the truth.
Ready to see what support can look like?
More consistent than a handyman.
More personal than a contractor.
More useful than worrying from a distance.
Service providers usually show up only after something breaks.
We take a proactive route by providing ongoing home and property oversight, maintenance and repairs, safety and wellness checks, planning and coordination, and trusted family communication so your parent has someone familiar, safe, and reliable helping with what needs done.

Questions families ask before reaching out.
What if my parent does not want help?
That is common. We do not come in to take over. We start respectfully, explain the service clearly, listen to their concerns, and focus on practical support that helps them stay independent and comfortable at home.
What if I live out of state?
That is exactly where Your Home Stewards can help. We can be your trusted local contact for home checks, maintenance, small repairs, photos, updates, and coordination when you cannot be there yourself.
Can you text or email me after every visit?
Yes, when requested. We can provide visit summaries, photos, completed tasks, concerns to watch, and recommended next steps.
Will my parent still be in control?
Yes. The homeowner remains respected and involved. Family updates are meant to support the household, not remove independence or dignity.
What if you find something urgent?
We will communicate clearly, document what we see, and help determine the next appropriate step. Your Home Stewards does not provide emergency, medical, or crisis response services. In an emergency, call 911.
Can you coordinate contractors?
Yes. We can help review priorities, meet contractors, provide recommendations, oversee work, and help families understand what is reasonable, urgent, or unnecessary.
Do we have to start with membership?
No. Many families start with a conversation or the one-time Home SnapShot™ before deciding whether ongoing membership makes sense.
Will you judge my parent or their home?
Absolutely not. Homes are personal, and everyone falls behind somewhere. We protect privacy, dignity, family circumstances, and confidentiality at all times.
Is this only for parents who are elderly?
No. This page is written for families helping aging parents, but the service can help any homeowner who needs trusted support, oversight, maintenance, and a familiar local contact.
A familiar face.
A steady hand.
A trustworthy presence.
A Steward your family can count on.
Your Home Stewards was created for families who need more than a one-time handyman visit, but do not want to manage a parade of contractors, strangers, estimates, and unfinished lists for a parent’s home.
Our work is personal by design. We learn the home, notice what changes, keep records, help sort priorities, and provide steady support so aging homeowners can stay safer, more comfortable, and more independent at home.
Worry less. Know more.
Give their home a Steward.
Tell us what you are trying to manage, what worries you, and what kind of support would help your parent stay safer, more comfortable, and more independent at home. We can start with a simple conversation and help you decide the right next step.
