Not exactly. Handyman work is part of what we can do, but Your Home Stewards is built around ongoing home stewardship: learning the home, tracking needs, handling routine maintenance, prioritizing tasks, keeping your home beautiful, and giving you one trusted place to turn.
What if we only need help once in a while?
That's fine! Membership is best for households that want priority support and a steady rhythm, but we can also talk through occasional help or start with the Home SnapShot™.
Can you handle small annoying tasks?
You bet! Small tasks are often the exact things that drain the most mental energy because they never feel big enough to schedule, but they keep bothering you every day.
Do we need to be home during visits?
No, not in the majority of cases. As long as we have access to the property and home to complete our work, no one needs to be present.
What if you find something urgent?
We will communicate clearly, document what we see, and help determine the next appropriate step. Your Home Stewards does not provide emergency or crisis response services. In an emergency, call 911.
Can you coordinate contractors?
Yes. We can help review priorities, meet contractors, provide recommendations, oversee work, and help you understand what is reasonable, urgent, or unnecessary.
Do we have to start with membership?
No. Many homeowners start with a conversation or the one-time Home SnapShot™ before deciding whether ongoing membership makes sense.
Will you judge us or our home?
Absolutely not! Homes are personal, and everyone falls behind somewhere. We protect privacy, dignity, family circumstances, and confidentiality at all times.
Is this worth it if I am handy?
Often, yes. Being capable does not mean you have unlimited time, energy, or attention. We are here to help carry the load, not question your ability.
Can we keep a running list for you?
Yes, but you don't have to because we take that burden off of you. Members can use the Private Portal to submit tasks, request help, manage appointments, and keep the home list from living in everyone’s head.
What if something needs a specialist?
We will tell you plainly when something is outside handyman or stewardship scope, help you understand the priority, and coordinate with qualified specialists when appropriate.
